In 2015, Neos was growing at a rapid pace and turned from a hands-on start up spirited business, to a multinational company across three locations and over 100 employees. In order to keep up our unique work environment and not become the next script template for another season of “The office”, we needed something to capture our spirit and respectively, make the unwritten rules communicable to new joiners. All this, whilst reminding ourselves what we stand for, especially in extremely demanding times.
How do we work together? How do we communicate with each other? What guides our decisions? The need to set a foundation for Neos’ culture, which prepares us for a future where the IT world changes, became apparent very fast.
Since cultural values are shaped by the people living them, we have approached and asked different people inside Neos about their personal values and what they appreciate about their colleagues. After everybody voted accordingly, six of our eight values were born. In addition, our two founders and managing directors have contributed another two values, which are reflecting their company vision.

Our Neos spirit is very special. We like to celebrate together frequently, be it our annual Christmas and summer party, or going to the Oktoberfest together. We also enjoy visits to the Christmas markets, going bowling or having wine & cheese parties in the office. Our colleagues in Bangkok love to attend themed dressing up parties and participate in Karaoke contests.
First of all, we constantly learn from everything we do! We use our own and our joint team experience to continually improve our performance. We learn from our successes and also from our failures. Continuous learning and knowledge sharing is systemically built into Neos’ DNA and infrastructure. Our TIKA talks are a good example! It is a dedicated platform, where employees from all departments and locations can share their expertise or latest ideas revolving around Technology, Innovation, Knowledge and Amazing stuff. TIKA talks usually consist of 30 min of presentation and 30 min of discussion, and everybody who is interested can tune in and approach the presenter afterwards to expand on ideas, which might have popped up during the session.
In terms of your personal development, there are no straight or strict career paths at Neos, but if you have the right mindset, you can take a tremendous step forward and steer your development in the direction you have envisioned for yourself. Your learning and development is supported by a Feedback & Mentoring Programme, which will help you to evolve your skills through a serious of one-to-one conversations with your Mentor and other learning activities and training.
This programme allows both Neos and you to evaluate your skills accurately, see your blind spots and determine a plan for improvement and help you reach your goals and aspirations.
